I was reading a novel by Julio Cortázar when I had a strange feeling as if someone was there. When reading an author we often have images of other of his writings. That was probably the matter.

Estaba leyendo una novela de Cortázar cuando sentí una presencia extraña. No es raro que leyendo un autor imágenes de otràs escritos de él nos vengan a la mente. Debe de haber sido eso. La novela "62/ a Model kit" armar" dealt with a man who in a restaurant was looking at someone else eating his rare steake, nothing to worry about.

Can it be possible that whilst reading a text one's mind slips into feelings coming from another text? Fears in this case. In "House taken over" the supposed presence of an unknown person in the house of the Rodriguez Peña street in Buenos Aires was the product of the imagination of Irene and her brother, who both lived isolated from the world. Irene and her brother fomented tacitely each other the fear of their privacy being invaded, but I lived alone. was i becoming paranoic?

Tired I rubbed my eyes and looked up. There he was, eating his rare steak! Continue
